NFL Week 15 Picks

Standard

Greetings yet again folks, readers, people who read this blog and are addicted to it. It is that time of the week where we NFL fans recover from a hectic week of football that transpired in week 14 and what a week it was. For me, snow games are probably one of the best sights to see. They’re fun to watch if: you are in home sipping on beer in a warm apartment, and/or watch the game the way its meant to be played, in the elements. I did finish however 9-7 due to account that the Cowboys cannot seem to find a way to get out of the funk that is December, I would be at 10-6 if for not that misfortune. I have therefore revoked my no-picking the Bengals rule and revert it to the Cowboys by not picking them the rest of the season. Here are my picks:

San Diego @ Denver: Broncos. Fairly easy one to pick in this situation. San Diego has proven otherwise to be a shocker this season at 6-7, but to pick them would be crazy.

Green Bay @ Dallas: Packers. Good timing in my no-picking Cowboys rule. Must-win for the Packers if they want to win the rest of the way and get into the postseason. If Aaron Rodgers is clear to play, the line will not be -8 for the Cowboys.

Washington @ Atlanta: Tie. Just kidding. The Falcons. The Redskins have proved otherwise to be a disappointment this season, record-wise and team-wise. Something isn’t working for them whether its RGIII or Mike Shanahan. I feel safe picking the Falcons at home.

Chicago @ Cleveland: Bears. Much like the Packers, the Bears are sitting at the drivers seat to win the division, but without their fearless leader at QB. Browns may have the upset in this one, but I’d rather see the Bears than the Lions in the playoffs.

Buffalo @ Jacksonville: Jaguars. Oh snap! He did just not pick the Jaguars to beat the Bills. The Bills have the same record as the Jaguars, yet they blew it against the Jets. Give me the Jaguars.

New England @ Miami: Patriots. No Gronkowski will be a challenge for the Patriots but in this game where a division clinching game for the Patriots is on the line, there is no going back.

Philadelphia @ Minnesota: Eagles. The Iggles go into Minnesota with the division lead and possibly gaining a bigger division lead over the Cowboys. The Vikings are a washed-up band of misfits who desperately need help in the draft.

Seattle @ New York Giants: Seahawks. The Seahawks aren’t as good on the road as they would at home but even that against the awful Giants, I’d take the Seahawks any day.

San Francisco @ Tampa Bay: 49ers. Tampa Bay has done well the past few weeks, but the Niners have a new footing and they will not let the Seahawks gain more ground on the division and a playoff spot then they need to.

New York Jets @ Carolina: Panthers. The Panthers got embarrassed last Sunday night against the Saints, for all possibly good reasons too. The Saints are a good team and the Panthers are getting there. They get to 10 wins after this game.

Kansas City @ Oakland: Chiefs. The Raiders are a nuisance who gave me the thought that they would win last week. For shame. Chiefs go on to win and keep their playoff spot alive.

New Orleans @ St. Louis: Saints. The Saints aren’t good on the road, that’s for sure. However, they are traveling a few states up just to play against the Rams who are at this point trying to play spoiler, I don’t think they are capable of doing it.

Arizona @ Tennessee: Cardinals. Let’s face it the Cardinals want to shock the world and get into the postseason, at 8-5 they should have a playoff spot, and to do that you have to win games, and they should win this game or they aren’t the Cardinals of decades past.

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh: Bengals. The Sunday night game on NBC proves to be a bit sour, the Bengals should win and prove to America that they are the team that everyone in the AFC has to fear. Honestly, the Steelers need to rebuild through the draft since that’s what they are good at.

Houston @ Indianapolis: Colts. Don’t need to explain this one for more than what its worth.

Baltimore @ Detroit: Ravens. I’m going upset special in this one. The Ravens have proved me wrong in the past and sure they deserve to not be picked in this game but they are still the Super Bowl champs from a year ago, gotta stand for something right?
